Embarking on a thrilling adventure, we set out on our first road trip just weeks after we met, a journey that would span a staggering 20 hours. With a shared passion for travel, we eagerly embraced the unknown, eager to explore the world together.
Fuelled by our wanderlust, we decided to document our escapades on a YouTube channel we aptly named “Barefoot in America.” This platform would serve as a medium to share our unique experiences and encounters with the world.
As we journeyed across the vast landscapes of America, we made sure to capture the essence of each destination. However, our channel had a twist – we incorporated yoga into our travels. From serene mountain peaks to vibrant cityscapes, we would film ourselves practicing yoga in picturesque locations, showcasing the harmony between travel and wellness.
Through “Barefoot in America,” we aimed to inspire others to embark on their own adventures, while also highlighting the transformative power of yoga. We were determined to demonstrate that travel and self-care can intertwine, providing a holistic approach to exploration and personal growth.
With every video, we hoped to ignite a sense of wanderlust and encourage individuals to step out of their comfort zones, both physically and spiritually. “Barefoot in America” became our creative outlet, allowing us to not only share our love for travel and yoga but also connect with a global community of like-minded individuals.

“My Serendipitous Love Story Amidst Pandemic Uncertainty”
In the thick of the Covid-19 onset, when days were consumed by uncertainty and solitude, I encountered a beacon of hope on a sunny Saturday in June – Kathy, my now beloved partner. Our first encounter seamlessly transitioned into a date the very next day, and life has felt like an extended first date ever since.
Hailing from the Midwest, Kathy is an ardent Yogi, her spirit brimming with an irresistible zest for life. Her compassionate soul and innate tranquillity radiate an aura of peace, grounding us amidst life’s tumultuous whirlwinds. Her vibrant energy fills our shared moments with enthusiasm and warmth, reminding me daily of the serendipity of our initial meeting during those unprecedented times.
Kathy, you are not just my partner but my anchor, my confidante, my homie. I am deeply grateful for your existence and the love we share. Thank you for making my life infinitely brighter. I love you, homie.

The Joys and Challenges of Fatherhood: A Proud Dad’s Perspective
Welcome to my High School Senior website! As you navigate through this page, I want to take a moment to share a glimpse into my life, particularly the joys and challenges of being a father to my incredible children. They say time flies when you’re having fun, and I couldn’t agree more. It feels like just yesterday that my babies were learning to walk and talk, but now they have become amazing young adults, each carving their own unique path in life.
Let me introduce you to my wonderful children, my pride and joy, who will forever hold a special place in my heart:
First up is Megan, also known as Mo Mullings, my oldest. She has grown up to become a professional basketball player, living her dream of traveling the world while doing what she loves most. I couldn’t be prouder of her determination and the incredible talent she possesses.
Next is Tommy, or as he prefers to be called now, Thomas “whatever Tommy.” He is my only son, and I must say, he has grown into an amazing young man with a big heart and a soft side. Tommy’s compassion for others shines through, making him a truly special individual.
Then there’s Joseph, or as I lovingly call him, Joseppi. He married into our family and has proven to be a wonderful addition. Joseph has a heart of gold, always bringing happiness and love into the lives of those around him. Seeing him make my daughter happy fills my heart with joy.
Justine, our fourth oldest, is a ball of energy who brightens up our days. She brings a unique spark to our family dynamics, and her vibrant personality is contagious. Justine is convinced that she is our favorite, and while we love all our children equally, she certainly knows how to make us laugh and smile.
Katelyn, our third oldest, holds a special place in my heart as the only one of my kids to ever beat me in a race. I’m still convinced she turned early, but that playful competition is a story for another day. Katelyn’s determination and drive have always impressed me, and I’m excited to see where her journey takes her.
Bridget, our youngest, is currently a junior at Utah State, where she’s playing basketball. People often remark on her incredible talent as a player, but I can’t help but tease them by saying, “Have you met her siblings?” Growing up with siblings who didn’t hold back during playtime has molded Bridget into a fierce competitor.
Although not pictured, I want to acknowledge my second oldest, Sydney. We have been estranged for years, but that doesn’t diminish the love I have for her. Sydney, if you’re reading this, know that I wish you nothing but the best in life.
As a father, I’ve experienced the exhilarating highs and the challenging lows that come with raising children. From sleepless nights and countless diaper changes to moments of immense pride and joy, it has been a remarkable journey. I’ve watched my children grow up right before my eyes, and it’s a bittersweet feeling to see them transition into adulthood.
To all the parents out there, cherish every moment with your children. Time truly flies, and before you know it, they’ll be spreading their wings and embarking on their own adventures. Embrace the joys, navigate the challenges, and remember that the love and support you provide them will shape the amazing humans they become.

One of My Biggest Loves: Exploring the Trails of Sedona
Sedona, with its breathtaking natural beauty, has become more than just a place on the map for me. It has become one of my biggest loves. Nestled in a picturesque area, this enchanting town has captured my heart and soul in ways I never imagined.
My journey with Sedona began when my now 30-year-old child was just a tiny, three-month-old baby. Little did I know that this visit would be the start of a lifelong connection to this magical place. The stunning red rock formations, the serene canyons, and the vibrant energy of Sedona left an indelible mark on my spirit.
It wasn’t until late 2004 that I made the life-changing decision to call Sedona home. Since then, I have immersed myself in the natural wonders that surround this charming town. With over 250 trails meandering through its vast expanse, Sedona offers an abundance of opportunities for exploration and adventure.
For me, the allure of Sedona lies in its trails. Whether I’m embarking on a challenging hike or a leisurely stroll, every step is a chance to connect with nature and find solace amidst the grandeur of the red rocks. The trails have become my refuge, a place where I can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and find inner peace.
Sedona’s trails offer something for everyone. From beginner-friendly paths to more advanced routes, there is always a trail that suits my mood and energy level. The diversity of landscapes never fails to amaze me. One moment, I may find myself walking through lush green forests, and the next, I’m surrounded by towering red cliffs, their hues changing with the shifting sunlight.
Being on the trails in Sedona feels like a spiritual journey. The profound silence envelops me, broken only by the sound of rustling leaves or the occasional bird’s song. Each trail has its own unique character, revealing hidden gems along the way. Whether it’s a hidden waterfall cascading down a rocky ledge or a secluded vista offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, there is always something new to discover.
Over the years, I have explored countless trails in Sedona, yet I never tire of the experience. Each outing feels like a reunion with an old friend, and I am constantly reminded of the magnificence of the natural world. The trails have become a part of my identity, shaping who I am and providing me with a deep sense of fulfillment.
While the trails of Sedona have become my sanctuary, I have also come to appreciate the importance of preserving and protecting this delicate ecosystem. Sedona’s natural beauty is a gift that must be cherished and respected. By practicing Leave No Trace principles and being mindful of our impact, we can ensure that future generations can also experience the wonders of this extraordinary place.
As I reflect on my journey with Sedona and my love for its trails, I am filled with gratitude. This town has given me so much more than I could have ever imagined. It has taught me to appreciate the simple joys of nature, to embrace the unknown, and to find peace in the present moment.
